The city of Unna, the service centre of the district of the same name, boasts of an almost millenary history, an historical city, various parks, many cultural, sportive and gastronomic offers and a variety of sights and leisure activities. A visit will always be worthwhile!

Leisure & Culture

The Lindenbrauerei (a former brewery, now a cultural centre) is a part of the Route Industriekultur and contains the Centre for Light Art. Besides there are the Hellweg Museum, theatres, concerts, fairs and expositions in the town hall (Stadthalle), concerts during the summertime, Nicolai district and the cinema.

Nature

Bornekamp, Königsborn Spa park, city park, Ülzener Heide (nature reserve with heath vegetation), countless kilometers of cycle tracks and footpaths, Haarstrang range with panoramic views over Dortmund and Holzwickede till Hamm. In the south, the forested heights of the Sauerland mountains greet the visitors.

Sports

In the immediate neighbourhood of Gut Höing, you find an indoor pool (sauna included). Besides, there are standard pools and fun pools, halls for badminton and squash, a bowling centre, riding halls and two golf courses with 18 holes in the close surroundings.
